Learn how to visually identify if leases cross county lines on the platform on the map or from the list.
On the Map
To get started, apply any desired filters. Then, set a custom radius that is larger than the county under evaluation. After that, modify the well layer settings to color by: leases.
Adding the counties layer to your map will facilitate the identification of wells that cross county boundaries.
Next, in the production analytics section, group the charts by lease. Take your pick from any of the charts and hover over one of the chart pieces to highlight the corresponding wells on the map. By doing so, you can easily observe that the Sunday Creek Coal Co # extends across three counties.
In the List
Similar to if you were to export the header data to Excel, you can visually compare the lease and county from the list.
Add a column for leases to the existing visible columns. Then, move the lease column next to the current county column. Filter the columns by lease first, and then by county.
The example below shows that HVP is in both Hocking and Perry counties.
