What data is contained in History Records?

This article will outline data points that can be found in the History Record. 

Overview

History records are a simple accounting of changes to a well during its lifetime. These records may be directly reported as history from a regulatory agency or can be calculated by WellDatabase based on changes to data obtained from regulatory agencies and other sources. 

Event Information

  • Status: Well status at the time of the history record
  • Status Date: Date the well status was set
  • Effective Date: Date the well event occurred
  • Organization: Organization responsible for the well event (operator or service company)
  • Comments: General comments 

Well Information

  • Well Name: Well name at the date of the history record
  • Field: Field where the well was drilled

System Identifiers

  • Id: Internal unique identifier
  • Internal Id: Unique record identifier as an integer for quick querying
  • Simple Id: Well identifier as an integer for simple and quick querying
  • Well Id: Unique well identifier

Record Management

  • Date Catalogued: Date and time record was catalogued into the export database
  • Date Created: Date record was created in WellDatabase
  • Date Last Modified: Date record was last modified in WellDatabase
