Search on an of the following data points by copy/paste from an external list.
- API (10, 12, 14)
- UWI
- Simple Id
- Id
Limits
Search up to 4,000 data points at one time using the "Well Finder" filter.
Using the Well Finder
Step One
In the first column of the well finder, select if you want to search by API, API10, API12, API14, UWI, SimpleId, or ID. In this example, we will search by API.
Step Two
Copy your API numbers from an Excel or CSV file and paste them into the first column. Once you have done that, proceed by clicking the "Find ## Values" button located at the bottom of the column.
Step Three
At the top of the second column, you will see the total number of wells that have been matched to your search criteria. In this instance, all 4,000 wells were successfully located. To proceed, click the "Add Matched" button located at the bottom of the column.
Step Four
Once you move the wells to the third column, click apply.
Once you click "Apply" the results will be shown on your map, in your list, and analytics.
The same steps can be followed for UWI, Id or Simple Id for up to 4,000 results.
Note: If you enter more than 4,000 wells, you will receive the error message shown below and not be able to search the wells.
