What is the Well Finder Filter?
The Well Finder filter, located within the Filters panel, allows you to quickly search for and load wells using identifiers such as API, UWI, Simple Id, and Id values.
How to Access the Well Finder Filter
Open the Filters panel, then select the Well Finder filter.

Supported Search Types
The Well Finder filter supports the following identifiers:
- API (10, 12, 14)
- UWI
- Simple Id
- Id
Well Finder Limits
- Up to 4,000 values can be searched at one time.
- Lists can be copied and pasted directly from Excel or CSV files.
How to Use the Well Finder Filter

In the first column, select the identifier type you want to search by. In this example, the search uses API values.

- Copy and paste your values into the first column, then click Find # Values.

- Review the matched wells in the second column, then click Add Matched.

- Once the wells appear in the third column, click Apply.

The selected wells will load into your:
- Map
- List
- Analytics results

Important Notes

The Well Finder filter supports up to 4,000 values at one time.

If more than 4,000 values are entered, the wells will not load and an error message will appear.

The same workflow can be used with API, UWI, Id, or Simple Id values.
