How do I identify the first year production was reported for an area?

The production dashboard offers valuable data insights, including allowing users to determine the earliest year for which WellDatabase has production records.

To get started, navigate to the grouping of wells or area you are interested in. In the Production dashboard, choose to group by "Vintage" and then scroll down to the table at the bottom of the dashboard. This table can be sorted by name, which represents the production year.

In the example below, you can see that 4 wells reported production in 1934, and by 1937, there were 72 wells in this area reporting production. By referring to the table, you can also map to the wells that produced during a specific year.

Additionally, the production dashboard can help you identify the year with the highest number of wells reporting production, as well as the year with the highest volume of oil or gas.
