Production records account for the majority of the data in WellDatabase. Here you will find a monthly record for production on every oil & gas well in our database. Production history varies from source to source, but all sources go back a minimum of 30 years and some closer to 100.
Production Period Information
- Report Date: Reporting period for the production
- Report Month and Report Year: Month and year of reporting period
- Days: Number of days well produced during period (defaulted to number of days in month if not provided)
- Month Number: Producing month number from first production
Location and Classification
- Field: Field well is assigned to during reporting period
- District: District name for production period (TX only)
- Formation: Formation identified as producing formation
- Interpreted Formation: Formation identified through tops interpretation
- Reported Formation: Formation as reported
Operator Information
- Operator: Producing operator name
- Reported Operator: Operator name as reported
Lease Information
- Lease Id: State lease ID for the production period
- Lease: Lease identifier (preserves leading zeros)
- Wells In Lease: Number of producing wells on lease
Lease Production Data
- Total Oil: Total oil produced for lease/unit
- Total Gas: Total gas produced for lease/unit
- Total Water: Total water produced for lease/unit
Well Production Data
- Well Oil: Oil production allocated to this well as a part of the larger lease. Calculated by (Well Oil Allowable/Lease Oil Allowable) * Total Oil
- Well Gas: Gas production allocated to this well as a part of the larger lease. Calculated by (Well Gas Allowable/Lease Gas Allowable) * Total Gas
- Well Water: water volume for the well
- GOR: Gas/Oil ratio
Daily Production Rates
- Well Daily Oil: Calculated daily oil volume based on total production / days producing
- Well Daily Gas: Calculated daily gas volume based on total production / days producing
- Well Daily Water: Calculated daily water volume based on total production / days producing
Allowables
- Lease Oil Allowable: Total oil allowed to be produced for the lease/unit
- Lease Gas Allowable: Total gas allowed to be produced for the lease/unit
- Well Oil Allowable: Total oil allowed to be produced by this specific well
- Well Gas Allowable: Total gas allowed to be produced by this specific well
Record Management
- ID: Internal unique Identifier
- Internal Id: Unique record identifier as an integer for quick querying
- Well Id: Unique well identifier
- Simple Id: Integer-based well identifier for quick querying
- Date Created: Initial record creation in WellDatabase
- Date Last Modified: Most recent modification date
- Date Catalogued: Export database cataloging date
