What data is contained in the Core Records?

This articles gives an overview of the data points that can be found in the Core Records.

Core Sample Information

Detailed information about the core sample includes:

  • Reference ID: Source reference identifier for core sample
  • Core Type: Type of core sampled
  • Top: Top depth of core sample
  • Bottom: Bottom depth of core sample
  • Formation: Formation the core was sampled from
  • Comments: The record includes a Comments field for documenting observations and notes about the core.

Records Management

  • ID: Internal unique identifier
  • Well ID: Unique well identifier
  • Simple ID: Integer identifier for quick querying
  • Internal ID: Unique record identifier for quick querying
  • Date Created: Date record was created in WellDatabase
  • Date Last Modified: Date record was last modified in WellDatabase
  • Date Catalogued: Date and time record was catalogued into the export database
